NOTE: Some online route planners and Sat Nav devices give directions to enter New Lanark via The Beeches. However this country track is NOT recommended for vehicles. Please follow brown road signs which will direct you to New Lanark via Hyndford Road.

TRAIN

There are 2 trains every hour (1 every hour at weekends) from Glasgow Central to Lanark railway station and the journey time is about 45 minutes. From Edinburgh there are also 2 trains that leave every hour and the journey time is about 40 minutes. BUS
